AKA gooey salty and sweet goodness

Bacon wrapped dates are one of my favorite side dishes for Thanksgiving. They are easy, and are mouth-watering good.

If you’re hosting Thanksgiving, or are in charge of bringing a dish to Friendsgiving, this is the dish for you.

You can make these with goat cheese or cream cheese if you prefer.

Here’s the easy peasie recipe:

Ingredients:

-1-2lbs of medjool dates (either pitted or un-pitted). You can buy a box at Trader Joes, Costco, any grocery store really.

-1-2lbs of sugar free bacon or turkey bacon if you prefer.

-baking sheet

-cutting board

Directions:

1.) Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.) Take your bacon and place them on the cutting board vertically. Cut each piece of bacon in half and set aside on a plate.

3.) If your dates are already pitted, take a cut piece of bacon and wrap it around the date. Place it on the baking sheet. If your dates are not de-pitted, you will need to de pit them by slicing them vertically and removing the pit.

4.) Do this for all of your dates.

5.) Bake for 20 minutes. Take out of the oven and then flip the dates and bake for another 20 minutes.

6.) Once baked, allow to cool for five-ten minutes then serve. Can be stored in the fridge up to one week.

Enjoy! All my healing love,

K
